FALL YOUTH SPORTS REGISTRATION: JULY 2023

From July 1st through July 31st, the Lansing Parks & Recreation Department will accept registration for the Fall Soccer, Flag Football, & Cheerleading programs.

Registration can be completed in person at the Lansing Activity Center, 108 S 2nd Street, from 8 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Registration is also available online at www.lansingks.org/parksrec.

The participation fee is due at the time of registration. Registrations made after July 31st may not be accepted. If late registrations are permitted, an additional fee of $10 per participant will be assessed.

Qualifying individuals can receive financial assistance. To learn more about eligibility, please visit the Parks & Recreation page on the City of Lansing’s website to access the Scholarship Program information flyer and application.

YOUTH FALL SOCCER:

The participation fee is $35 per registrant. Non-residents are welcome to register, but an increased registration fee of $40 will apply. The registration fee includes a jersey and socks. Please take a look at the division chart for participant eligibility.

YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL:

The participation fee is $50 per registrant. Non-residents are welcome to register, but an increased registration fee of $60 will apply. The registration fee includes a jersey. Youths entering first through sixth grade for the 2023-24 school year are eligible to participate.

YOUTH CHEERLEADING:

The participation fee is $35 per registrant. Non-residents are welcome to register, but an increased registration fee of $40 will apply. The registration fee includes a t-shirt and pom-poms. This program will be cheering at the Parks & Recreation youth football games. Youths aged 5 – 12 as of August 31st, 2023, are eligible to participate.

• Practices will begin in Late August. Games start in September and will continue through October.
• Scholarship requests must be received by 4:30 pm Tuesday, July 18th.
• Refunds for these programs will NOT be offered after the uniform and equipment order is placed on Tuesday, August 22nd.

2023/2024 Soccer Age Guidelines:

Birth Year/Age Group

2018 - 2019 = U6

2016 - 2017 = U8

2014 - 2015 = U10

2012 - 2013 = U12

*2009* - 2010 - 2011 = U15

*2009* participants are only eligible if enrolled in 8th grade for the 2023/2024 school year.
